In cooperation with the “Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung”, the Gustav Stresemann Institut and the EU Commission the Slow Media Institut sets up a transnational project, the “Colloquium European Societies in digital Age”. Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society, is patron of the Colloquium.

Kick-Off: the Convention in june 2018

The first Convention in 2018 was hold on 25th-26th. june 2018 at Gustav Stresemann Institute Bonn. It was the kick-off for the colloquium and included panels, talks and workshops tackling the challenges of European digital societies from different points of view. National and international speakers, organisations and guests met and discussed. The convention was funded by the Federal Agency for Civic Education (Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung), Germany. Member of the European Parliament Axel Voss opened the two-day conference with a keynote.
